For the Beauty of the Earth (DIX)

by Conrad Kocher (1786-1872), 1838

Breakfast Grace

Gracious giver of all good,
Thee we thank for rest and food,
Grant that all we do and say,
In your service be this day.

Lunch Grace

Father for this noon day meal,
We would speak the praise we feel,
Health and strength we have from thee,
Help us Lord to faithful be.

Dinner Grace

Tireless guardian of our way,
Thou hast kept us well today,
While we thank thee we request,
Care continued, pardon, rest.

Wayfarer's Grace by Elizabeth Worsfold

For all the glory of the way.
For Thy protection, night and day.
For roof-tree, fire and bed and board.
For friends and home, we thank Thee, Lord.

*This also has its own tune by G. C. E. Ryley and can be sung to the Doxology.

Alabemos al Senor (Spanish)

A-la-be-mos al Senor.
De-mos le gra-cias al Ha-ce-dor;
Por el ho-gar y la a-mis-tad, Grac-ias, Senor, A-le-lu-ya.

God is Great

God is great and God is good,
Let us thank him for our food.
By His hand we all are fed,
Give us Lord our daily bread.
Lord of all to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.
